One of our employees is going on parental leave, and therefore we are looking for you who want to create security for elderly people through professional assessments, participation, and good treatment.

The position is a temporary assignment lasting until September 2027, giving you the opportunity to become part of our work group for a longer period.

What can we offer you?

As a Social Secretary, you are responsible for authority exercises according to current legislation and play a central role in the meeting with elderly people and their relatives. The work is characterized by independence, responsibility, and close cooperation with colleagues and other actors.

The position is located within the Elderly and Disability Assessment Unit, which consists of a unit manager, social secretaries (SoL and LSS), transport service handlers, and administrative staff.

The work includes among other things:

• investigate, assess, and make decisions on interventions according to current legislation
• document and follow up on decided interventions
• collaborate with colleagues, providers, and other internal and external actors
• meet individuals and relatives in different life situations

The interventions primarily concern elderly people in need of support in the form of home care, safety alarms, meal delivery, day activities, short-term accommodation, and respite care.

What are we looking for in you?

We are looking for you who have:

• a degree in social work or other higher education that the employer considers equivalent
• very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• good computer skills
• Class B driver's license

Merits:

• knowledge of relevant legislation
• experience with authority exercises, at least one year

Personal qualities

You have a good attitude and enjoy meeting people in different life situations. You work independently, structured, and have a good ability to prioritize.

You also find it easy to collaborate and actively contribute to the group's development. Adapting communication and information to the person you meet is obvious to you, to create security, participation, and understanding.
